Several tumours are curable by chemotherapy even in the advanced stage. Such tumours are as follows.

Haematological tumours

  • Some lymphomas
  • Hodgkin lymphoma
  • Acute lymphatic leukaemia
  • Acute myeloid leukaemia

Solid tumours

  • Choriocarcinoma
  • Testicular teratoma
  • Neuroblastoma
  • Wilms tumour (nephroblastoma)
  • Burkitt tumour
  • Embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma

Tumours curable by adjuvant chemotherapy

  • Breast cancer (especially up to stage 2)
  • Osteogenic cancer
  • Soft tissue cancer
  • Colorectal cancer
